The next day Rose follows Cane, a known gunman, as he exits town. It’s implied that Cane has his way with the willing Erica at this point, but to appease the censors of the day, Erica tells Cane leave.
This drives Jake crazy and later when the conversation between Cane and Erica is taken up to her room, Jake tries to interrupt the couple before they go too far but is told to leave. She begins to flirt with him in front of her bartender and part to boy toy Jake. We find out later that Cane has a grudge against Polk.Ĭane is a very macho brute and Erica finds him irresistible. She knows that she is about to sell the land and become rich and only wants Cane to kill Rose. When Cane arrives he offers to get rid of Polk. The town mayor Gideon Polk comes to Erica’s saloon and tells her that she’s borrowed too much money buying up land. Jake hires a gunslinger named Cane Miro (John Ireland). The Deputy throws Jack over the bar winning his fight as well.Įrica sends her loyal boy-toy Jake to find and hire someone to Rose wins the fight and has made a new enemy. Rose pushes Erica who falls down and hits her head on the bar knocking her out for a moment. Jake the bartender jumps on Rose's huge deputy in an attempt to help Erica. Of the day stop the fight before it goes to far). The two women get in a catfight and begin to rip each other’s clothes off. Rose draws her guns and shoots out the oil lamp. Rose as the new town marshal, accompanied by her deputy, goes over to Erica’s saloon at 3 AM and tells her to close down for the night in accordance with town regulations.Įrica in her low-cut dance hall girls outfit laughs as the prim and proper Rose and refuses to close her saloon, saying that it will remain open for 24 hours (apparently, she and her girls make most of their money after 3 A.M.)
There are three dancehall girls working at the saloon and they do a version of the Can-Can as they strip down bit by bit to their corsets and fishnet stockings.Įrica is apparently having an on again off again affair with her bartender Jake Hayes (Jonathan Haze) who is extremely loyal to Erica but also extremely jealous when she sleeps with other men.
